Primo is a series of topic-based units providing students with a taste of Italian language and culture. Each topic covered in the workbook is supported by videos, songs, listening tasks and photographic slideshows on the teacher CD-ROM. Primo is designed to allow teachers and students to put together their own course by choosing the topics that interest them. It is designed to cover one term, one semester or one year, simply by trying more units or taking your time covering them all in more detail. Primo 1 covers the topics of the students' personal life and their environment. This book can be used as an introduction course in itself, or it can be split up into topics and used in conjunction with the topics in Book 2 and beyond.
